Michael Carroll
Michael Carroll, President, started Insuring Lawyer to become one of the nation’s most recognized specialists for insuring Law Firms nationally. Law Firms are a massively underserved insurance market, as Michael has created niche programs to adequately protect Law Firms for Professional Liability, Cyber Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Office Business Insurance, and Workers Comp.
Michael is a featured speaker at many national events for Law Firm owners and has authored a critically acclaimed book for Law Firm owners titled The Naked Lawyer.
Insuring Lawyer has earned Best Practices Top 250 performers for the past 25 consecutive years nationally out of 37,500, as recognized by the Independent Insurance Agents Association, and in fact has earned Top 6 Performer nationally in 2001, 2013, and 2019.
Joseph “Joey” Carroll
Joseph “Joey” Carroll is Mike’s youngest son, who has been working to join Carroll Insurance & Risk Management Group for years. Joey learned from one of the best wholesalers nationwide, D & O Partners in NJ, and is ready to protect law firm owners from unnecessary risk with his in-depth knowledge of Office Business Insurance, Workers’ Comp, and Personal Autos, Home, & Umbrella Liability for law firm owners and all great people looking to be appropriately protected at competitive pricing.
Joey was a highly recruited three-star prospect coming out of high school, where he chose to play TE for the Bowling Green Falcons of the Mid-American Conference, aka MACtion coached by Scot Loeffler, who turned BG into a winner. Joey earned his bachelor’s degree at BG and then joined his Toledo St. Francis DeSales high school coach, Dan Chipka, to play TE at American International College, where he earned his master’s degree.
Joey married his “Falcon Flame,” McKenna, whom he met at BG, and they share a beautiful daughter, Francesca (Frankie), born in September 2024. Joey enjoys working out, watching ballgames, being a husband and dad, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jody Carroll
Jody Carroll is the CFO for Carroll Insurance & Risk Management Group.
She oversees clients’ and carriers’ premiums and revenues. She forecasts growth goals to expand staff and open additional offices nationwide.
Michael and Jody were married on October 22, 2021, and together they are parents to five adult children (Mike has three and Jody has two) who have produced numerous grandchildren, as well as their beloved labradoodle, Roch, who is the best boy. Her passions include dental hygiene (especially for children), traveling, Pilates, reading, and going to Mass.
